I Think Spring May Be Here - or at least on it's way!

Saturday, we took off to VA for Bob and Elyse to run a 10 mile race on the Creeper Trail.
It was a beautiful day and felt AMAZING to be outside.
Elyse was on spring break last week and was sick the entire time- so she just wasn't up to the 10 mile run.  She made 4 miles (walked 2).  But Bob on the other hand came home with a trophy!

After the race we had a picnic.  Carolyn prepares a dandy one.  Thanks to her.
Elyse and Bob had the biggest cheering crowd of anyone at that race.  In attendance was;
Me, Mike, Carolyn, Evelyn, Terry, Forrest and Austin.  The police (Jonathan) did stop by to say hello,
but he was on the clock (catching those "mean" Abingdon criminals).
We had a great day - except for Elyse - who just wanted to go home and go to bed.
