Fun Day!

I spent a fun day with Andi, Beckett and Helen. We went to Dollywood and had a great time.

Beckett and I rode the new ride and got very wet. Then we all rode the River ride and got wet

again. It's always fun to spend a day with special kids!! Thanks to the Harpers for inviting me!

Summer is Here!!

No pictures of all the fun I am having, but it's been a great few days of rest and doing nothing.

I do have plans to accomplish things this summer - cleaning out the garage and getting the house in order. But if I get a better offer I am always game for that!!

Hope your days are filled with fun and sunshine.

Happy Weekend

Happy Weekend to all!
Mine started out today in the Doctor's office for a shot. My eyes are almost swollen shut from some type of allergic reaction to something. I don't feel real great! I'm too scary looking to post a picture.

Some events happening right now:
- only 5 days left of school
It's been a fun year --- I will miss my group.

-Elyse is out of school and working at the UT pre- school. Its fun to have her home.

- Windy is unemployed, but is actively looking. She does have a phone interview on Wed. - so wish her luck.

- Lindsey (my niece) is starving this weekend -- you go girl!!

- Forrest (my other niece) only has 2 more days of school. She will be going to a new high school next year.

- Evelyn (Forrest's Mom) has only 2 days left also of school (also a teacher) - then they are moving this summer and have to sell and buy a house. sounds like work to me.

-Terry (Evelyn's husband) will start a new job June 2nd in a new place. So good luck to him.

- I have a BASKET party Tuesday night --- I haven't had a party in a long time. I'm excited!!

That's about it around here - it is a busy time of the year.

On the Road Again

Our early weekend fun started with our travels to Fort Wayne, Indiana. My friend Jo, Windy, and her Joe, and Joe's Mom Robin traveled to the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. Above is a picture of the tables that are loaded with Vera totes and pocketbooks. It is overwhelming, but so much fun.
You just can't pass up a chicken on the road!! What a Kodak moment.
Jo trying to make the many decisions she had to make. It was a difficult job to try and figure out
just how many pocketbooks one needs to own. Decisions Decisions.
We got to re-live Spring again. Everything was in bloom and it was just beautiful.
Another picture of the Vera Show.
Now on to Dresden, Ohio --- Longaberger here we come.
This was a Collectors Club Event. Jo and I set up some of our "EXTRA" baskets and sold them on Saturday. We did pretty good, but don't think we broke even with what we spent at Vera. We had great fun. Any Longaberger Event is always a treat!
My pictures are a little out of order -- OOPS - Back to Fort Wayne. We visited a real Vera Bradley store and it was so fun to look at all the stuff they have plus we got a sneak peek at the new items coming out soon.
Joe and Windy at the Vera Store. I would like to say Thank You to Windy, Joe and Robin. They were great hosts to Jo and I. They took us to all the best places. We ate lunch at a Red Robin and then we had a delicious dessert at their favorite chocolate place. It was great!! We got to do some things we would not have been able to have done on our own -- so Thank You for being such great hosts!
Jo and I eating our chocolate creation!! It was amazing. DeBrand Chocolate! If you ever have the opportunity to try it --- you won't regret it.
The Girls after a long hard day of shopping.

The vehicle was filled to the top --- not another spare spot.
Longaberger Homestead!! We are all smiles after a long hard day of work and shopping. It was very windy -- reason for the blown look.

Our Booth we had set up. The theme for the Event was a Hoe-Down. Lots of cowgirls and cowboys running around. Some very interesting.
Our favorite mime. He is wonderful. We see him at every event Longaberger does. He is such fun to watch.
We had another great trip!!
Jo is a special friend to travel with. We have so much fun as we enjoy so much of the same things. We are looking forward to our next trip which will be back to Ohio for the BEE.
