The House that Jack built!

After visiting in Wake Forest, Carolyn, Forrest, Elyse and I went to Vanceboro, NC to visit my older brother Jack.  This was a trip we had promised Daddy we would take him on.  So we decided to go ahead and keep our plans.  Daddy always wanted to see where Jack lived!
Well, Jack has built him a house ~ and it is beautiful.  He also made all the furniture in it.

We loved it and we loved visiting with him!  It was so very hot!  But it was a great trip!

Cincinnati

Windy said we had to eat at places we don't have at home.  So Cheesecake Factory was first choice.
Then we had to try some famous Cincinnati chili.  It was different, but I think I like mine better.

The girls gave me tickets to see Josh Groban for Mother's Day.  How excited I have been!!

So we set out on Friday for our adventure.  When we picked Elyse up she informed me she had been bit by something.  She showed me her spot ~~~ and OH MY!  It was at the top of her leg - the worst possible place for a weekend of walking.
When we arrived in Cincinnati we decided we better go visit a Walk-In Clinic.  You know trips just arent' fun and exciting if you can't visit your local CVS mini clinic.

  So 2 prescriptions later and time for concert quickly approaching we are on our way to the big show.

Of course the Cincinnati Reds are playing and that would be right beside of the arena.  Lots and lots of "red" people, but we made it and had a wonderful time. 

The concert was amazing!  Thank you Windy and Elyse!  Best Mother's Day Present Ever!
