My birthday started a little early.

Beckett, Helen and Will came by on Wednesday and

brought me my birthday cake and present!

Well -needless to say Forrest has made a new friend.

kind of education.

Slumber Party!

It's been a long time (at least 26 years) since the 3 of us have been together without at least one kid. So we decided to have a birthday slumber party! Fun fun- even at our age.

Below you will see some of the fun things we did!
We got dirty! So we had to brush off a little before we posed.

Evelyn found fabric she loved - Had to have!!! No she doesn't sew, but she can tie a mean knot.

She wanted to make a blanket so we had to measure. So "Grandmother" sat in the chair so we could make sure we got enough to cover her from head to toe.

Then on to more shopping. Shoe shopping!!

All good shoppers need good food (and music). So Terry treated us to ribs (and music).

Back to the house to work on that blanket! We make use of every piece of fabric.

Shower for Amelia!

We had a baby shower today to welcome baby Amelia Jane. She is set to arrive somewhere around late October. Her 3 "Great" Aunts just can't wait.

No Baby Hokie will be wearing that color of orange. Sorry "Great" Aunt Evelyn.

I have been trying to do more with my pictures and I am having a blast doing it. I just don't really know what I am doing.
