Race # 5 - Tyson Park

What a nice day for a race.

It was suppose to have been hotter than h*ll, as the title of the

races says, but it wasn't.

The race was at 2:00 and it was a nice temperature.

Of course, Bob and Elyse said it was a little hot!

Their BEST time ever for a 5K.

A Slow Weekend!

It's been a lazy weekend. We needed rest after our week. I did take a few pictures just not in the mood to download them.
Elyse and Windy are both back in school. Windy has started her Masters and she goes 2 nights a week.
Both my sisters have had --- actually Evelyn's is tomorrow August 24th ! These are BIG birthdays for both of them. So Happy Birthday! Maybe we will get our party planned soon.

Monday - a day of Jeopardy

Forrest had to be up and ready to go by 7 a.m. CA time --- she was a little nervous.
Then I talked to Evelyn when they were getting ready to go into the show.
That's all I've heard and it 7:15 here and 4:15 there --- Forrest had to take a change
of clothes so they may be taping several shows. BUT I'm seriously stressing here wanting
to hear from them.

A Fun Day in CA

This is where Forrest will be tomorrow for Jeopardy.

They pick her up at 7 a.m. in the morning.

Well, needless to say they got lost (suppose to have had a GPS) -and

guess where they ended up --- Michael Jackson's front door.

Just talked to Evelyn and Forrest and they are up and ready for their day. They are having trouble adjusting to the time change so they woke up this morning at 4 ---
They had fun last night walking around their hotel. There is lots of shops and restaurants around them - so they don't have to drive so much.

This is Marilyn Monroe made out of jelly beans!

They had dinner at Bubba Gumps --- of course Forrest had fun with that!

Their hotel is right beside of Universal Studios.

Evelyn and Terry breakfast at 4:00 a.m. Nothing was open yet

so they had coffee and crackers!!

Update from CA

They arrived in CA and got their rental car. A little surprised at the price of gas.
When I talked with them they were looking for a place to eat!

Forrest Leaves for Jeopardy!

She looks like a WINNER to me!!

Forrest, her Mom and Terry all awoke early this morning to leave for CA. Their flight leaves Knoxville in about 40 minutes (9:40). They searched her suitcase and threw away her toothpaste.

Shower for Elliott!

On Saturday we had a family shower for Elliott. Her and Erik are getting married Oct. 3rd.
