Even Stump Came

Even Stump came for Thanksgiving!! I think he enjoyed it.
The driveway was full. You should have seen us moving cars around.

People Everywhere

Thanksgiving was a fun time with all our family.
I had people everywhere. I think I fed 27 people.

We celebrated 2 birthdays ,Mother's which is really
on Dec. 4th and Carol's whose birthday was on Thanksgiving.
All my brothers and sisters were here except for Jack and his
family. We missed them, but not really sure where we would
have put them --- just kiddin - we would have made room.
I hope everyone had a great time with their family.

Fantasy of Trees!!

Fantasy of Trees--- Tea Time in Tennessee

Thanks to Andi and Elyse for helping with the tree.

We missed Erin, but we know she is having a great time in Texas!!

Forrest in Action!!

Forrest in action --- do I need to say more??

The Show

The show is filled with lots of decorated trees and lots of beautiful things to look at.

One of the best parts is a strudel that we always get. Yum Yum.

Always time for Santa Claus.

The 3 Stooges

The 3 Stooges decided they needed a hair cut-- and we happened to have one within walking distance. So off they went. This is the after picture!!

Here they come entering the room laughing at their little visit to the hair salon.

The Before Picture!! Actually they look pretty good here.

Southern Living Show

Southern Living Show - Charlotte, N.C.
Me, Mother, my sisters, Carolyn and Evelyn, Elyse and Forrest have been going to this show for over 24 years. Each year we do pretty much the same thing, but each year brings much fun and laughter.

Thanks to Windy (who didn't get to go) we had a wonderful place to stay.
We always begin with gift-giving. The kick-off to Christmas.

The show also is around Forrest's birthday. So we always have a birthday cake and birthday gifts for her.

Elyse eating a chicken leg. Her Aunt Carolyn brought those for her while everyone else ate at Hardees. I'm so glad she is not spoiled.

Wedding!

Windy's friends, Kelly and Josh, were married last night in a beautiful wedding ceremony. The colors were black and red and it was so pretty.
The flowers were so pretty, my pictures aren't real clear.
It was a fun night for all.

Windy's shoes came off very quickly at the reception. She had her flip flops real handy.

The view of the shoes before Windy left home. NO she had no practice walking in them. She just got them the day of the wedding.

Weekend in Tannersville!

Mike and I went to Tannersville, VA for the weekend to stay with Carolyn and Tom.
Saturday morning we met Erin and Emory in Abingdon and went to the Mistletoe Market. We saw lots of pretty things, but bought nothing.

Everyone raved about Emory and all her hair. She was the perfect baby.

Mike and Tom stayed home and watched ballgames all day. Maggie found a new friend and I think even took a nap with Mike.

Carolyn always has something interesting growing in her garden.
We had a nice weekend. Thanks to Tom and Carolyn for letting us in for the weekend.
